This young Hollywood family wanted to update their home in a contemporary style with a Hollywood Hollywood Interior Design flavor. The homeowner's wanted to work with some of their existing pieces such as the Florence Knoll sofa and credenza, Womb Chair and Barcelona chairs. The designer successfully combined these items with beautiful new pieces. The solid colored upholstery is tied together by the colors in the artwork which was created by the homeowner, a Los Angeles artist. The custom mirrored console designed for the entry is a glamorous focal point. The combination of these interesting pieces create a dynamic and unique aesthetic.

News Combining a soft upholstery palate with a bold accent rug and accessories creates a comtemporary update for this Los Angeles home. Velvet Hammerschmidt selected MaxAlto's 2402 Sofa and A. Rudins' 646 Barstools for use in the kitchen and family room areas.

A high end residential home in Manhattan Beach, California that features several Botanist series benches and end tables, including the Botanist Flow Bench shown here in red and blue. The Botanist Series of products uses recyled aluminum which added green points and LEED points to this Green Point Rated sustainable home.

The Interior Kuhlhaus in Manhattan Beach is by Lean Arch and is the second in a series of high end sustainable homes which are Green Point Rated. The residence is in the Gaslight District of Manhattan Beach, California and features several Botanist Series benches and tables in the home. The Botanist benches and tables are made from recyled aluminum giving this sustainable project added green points and LEED points. Featured here is the Botanist Flora End table in pink.

The concept of this bedroom is the use of bright colors in fabrics ... finally chosen his red-green color scheme that memorable sunny. And because he wanted to highlight the colors, the color of the wallpaper and choose a soft finishing HPL, so it does not make the room became too full of color.

Because the entire wall using a plain wallpaper, then to eliminate the impression of monotony, is made by indirect headboard lamp background of this. I like the same concept like this, the designs simple but very different effects on the room .. I love this room do not have that picture in the night, should her lamp indirect effects could be more terasa.Wall mirrors on the sides of the headboard also make the room more berkasan wide, and can also serve as a makeup mirror.

New Design Black and White Foyer

Foyer 3 bedroom apartment is directly connected with private elevator, so I tried to design the foyer where when the elevator doors open, we will immediately get the atmosphere of both interesting and impressive interior light.

I purposely did not put this seat in the foyer, for a narrow area and a large entrance aperture, so that if there is a seat and will reduce the circulation path.

Instead I make wall panels on the wall in front of the elevator doors, with patterned accent stickers, sandblast and given additional shelves as a place to put accessories. Motifs on my birthday sticker sandblastpun to art work on walls.

What I like is the effect of halogen spotlight on the sticker on the wall sandblast mirrors create two-dimensional stickers, it looks more alive, so everytime we see the elevator doors open, our eyes will be instantly attracted to sandblast these stickers.

The polygonal shell envelopes two levels, where the open plan living area wraps around a central staircase, creating enough space for a spacious living room, bedroom and guest rooms with en-suite bathroom, two studies and kitchen. "Single-family houses are a bit like bespoke suits: they are tailored to the client’s needs, and ideally, they should make the best of the situation at hand', said the architects of Snail house.

This house is able to be ‘zoned’ to 3 separate areas; the sunroom at the back, the bedroom and hallway, and the living area to the front. This assists in the retention of heat in the winter months. Cross ventilation is carefully considered through the whole house. The front living area ventilates through a series of louvres in a bank of high level clerestory., and the bedrooms also have cross ventilation via fanlight windows above doors.
